Nothing sweeter than a summer wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn. It is clear why Kim & Brian selected this gem as a location for their wedding. A hilltop ceremony overlooking the New England countryside and reception under the tent. I just LOVED Kim’s dress - the plunging neckline with delicate lace brocade stole my heart. Kim & Brian’s first dance is worth mentioning because it was….ABSOLUTELY SUPURB!! Of course rehearsed but magical to say the least. We didn’t end the evening without a nighttime twilight photo on the lawn. Oh! What a fabulous day! Congrats, Kim and Brian!

Michelle and Paul’s wedding ceremony was held atto e Sacred Heart Church in Michelle’s hometown of Waltham, Massachusetts. This church was so beautiful on the inside, boasting an amazing stained glass window that cast a rainbow of colored light down the aisle. Reception took place at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor Hotel, which was also (of course!) where we took all the formal photos. Cannot resist this Boston skyline view! Certainly a lively crowd on the dance floor with radio personality, Greg Bedard, as DJ. A night at the Hyatt isn’t complete without a signature night time photo with the cityscape lit up behind the bride and groom. What a glorious day! Congrats, Michelle & Paul!

Jennie & Patrick tied the knot at the Warren Inn & Conference Center in Ashland, Massachusetts. With a little rain shower on the forecast, it was decided it was best to push the ceremony inside under the tented area, which turned out to the perfect idea. Jennie and Pat chose to do a first look so they could get formal photos taken care of prior to the ceremony and (the best part!) could attend their cocktail hour (and that they did!). The reception began with a grand entrance by our bride and groom, followed but some clever and swashbuckling toasts. Jennie and Pat’s first dance was a fabulous choreographed number that wowed their guests — complete with a dip! An amazing day from start to finish. Congratulations, Jennie & Pat!

I partnered with Queensberry Wedding Albums because they are without a doubt, THE BEST!! These gorgeous wedding albums are the highest quality album out there. I love them and my couples do too! This is one the latest albums that arrived. 10x7 Flush-mount Album with Silver Buckram Cover.

I love sharing the little secret gems in my hometown of Hopkinton, Massachusetts. These images are from what I call “Part Two” of Ali and Jared’s engagement shoot. While we started at another lovely location just down the street, I had been eyeing this spot for years, and convinced these two to take a leap of faith that my magical location would be worth their while. And that is was! I think this ended up being part of my favorite series of images. And don’t you just love Ali’s dress? White looks soooo good on you, Ali! Thanks for trusting my crazy ideas.

What else can I say? An outdoor museum makes a fabulous location for an engagement session. Jen and Mike selected the DeCordova Museum for their engagement session and I am so glad they did. Lush green lawns, artsy sculptures, ivy walls and manicured gardens created a beautiful balance of pretty and fun! (which these two certainly are!) Let the countdown begin until Jen and Mike’s October wedding!

Tim attended WPI and knew the Higgins House would make a great backdrop for his engagement photos with his fiance, Liz. He was right! My first time photographing at this location and I can’t wait to go back. The Tudor-style house is surrounded by English gardens, walk ways, and beautiful stone work. While we were there, debating about the perfect location for their wedding day formals, we decided this place was too good not to come back. We will see you again this November, Higgins House!

Amy & Eric met online. Upon their first few conversations, they discovered that they both worked within blocks of each other.  On their first date, they enjoyed some drinks, dinner and a summer walk. Exactly one year later, Eric proposed!!

To host their wedding day celebration, Amy and Eric selected the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. They loved it's castle-like architecture, and Amy knew that the grand stair case was a perfect place to show-off her gorgeous train.

Amy’s favorite part of the whole day was walking down the aisle hand-in-hand with her Dad, seeing all of their guests and Eric standing at the end of the aisle.  When we asked Eric what his favorite part of the day was, he replied "watching Amy walk down the aisle."  Seems like these two, forever, share a lot in common. What an incredible day! BIGGEST congrats to Amy & Eric!

Emily and Zaid tied the knot this spring at the elegantly rustic tuscan restaurant, L’Andana in Burlington, Massachusetts. Both the bride and our groom got ready at the Archer Hotel, conveniently located just a few miles away. Both the ceremony and reception both took place at L’Andana. A Whole Bunch Flower Market did a beautiful job with the floral arrangements — bride had all white roses, which I loved how simple and sweet that was! Centerpieces combined both blue and green hydrangeas and cake was decorate in buttercream and olive leaves. After their first dance, the toasts by Emily’s Dad, Maid of Honor and Zaid’s brother had the entire place in tears of laughter and sentiment. Not a more lively dance floor — this crowd loves to dance, which made my job fun! Before our day came to a close, we found a little spot just a stone’s throw away from their party to capture a few outdoor formal photos. It almost gave us the feeling like we were in a forest (you’d never know cars were driving by!). Lovely families, great friends and true love — that is what Emily and Zaid’s day was all about. Biggest congrats to our newly weds!!

Jen + Matt's Wedding {Barn at Wight Farm, Sturbridge, Massachusetts}

When Jen contacted me to photograph her wedding, I couldn’t have been more delighted! Jen and I have known one another since grade school 9we both grew up in Sturbridge). Never when we were children did we ever think someday I would be photographing her wedding. Such an exciting honor to do so! Jen & Matt chose the Barn at Wight Farm in Sturbridge, Massachusetts to exchange their nuptials. Jen two adorable boys joined their soon to be step-dad as he got ready a hotel just down the street. Then, the boys joined their mom to bid her farewell as she made her way to their “First Look” — the first time Jen and Matt would see each other on their wedding day. What a heartfelt moment it was! Just after dusk, the ceremony took place in the Alpheus Wight Room, where Jen’s eldest son escorted her down the aisle. Not a dry eye in the place and smiles from ear to ear! The reception took place inside the big red barn which boasts rustic wood interior with post and beam ceilings. Perfect setting for a cozy winter wedding celebration! A fabulous first dance introduced the couple into the barn, followed by dinner and more dancing. The night was completed with a fun finale moment, which included some of Jen & Matt’s closest friends and family and 3 foot sparklers! A great way to end this incredible winter wedding story. Congratulations, Jen & Matt!

Lauren + Bryan's Wedding {Connors Center, Dover, Massachusetts}

Gorgeous fall wedding at the Connors Center located in Dover, Massachusetts. This estate sprawls over 80 acres of land and boasts green plush lawns, hand-crafted stone walls, and manicured gardens. Wedding Planner, Elizabeth Quill of Elegant Aura, didn’t skip a beat on this romantic garden theme that poked it's’ little head up just about everywhere - artichokes, pomegranates and even asparagus made it’s way into the center pieces. Crab apples cradled place cards. Greenery embraced candles decorated the mahogany mantels. Oh! And my favorite part of the night — when Lauren + Bryan delighted their guests with a ‘surprise’ grand entrance through a secret library door into their ballroom. So sneaky and romantic! The night was capped with a backlight photo on the front lawn. Lauren + Bryan climbed up on their double vintage bike, which also played its part earlier in the day as a lovely little shelf for their card box. How clever! Congrats, Lauren + Bryan!

Sarah + Justin's Wedding {Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor Hotel, Boston, Massachusetts}

No better view of the Boston skyline than from the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor Hotel. Sarah + Justin both got ready at the hotel and their ceremony took place at St. Michael’s Parish in North Andover. This church is just beautiful with a long aisle. We popped in at Piers Park in East Boston (a little hidden gem just a stone’s throw from the Hyatt). Piers Park offer views of the marina, as well as, another glamorous angle of the Boston’s cityscape. Love when we have time to hit up a few locations! Cocktail hour sounded off around 5:30pm, just as the sun began to hue the sky with it’s brilliant orange glow. I was like “YAASS!!” for another fabulous photo op. Reception took place under the Hyatt’s magnificent tent, overlooking the harbor. Tables were tastefully touched with gold, blush pink and ivory florals and accents. Oh what a night! Complete with the city all lit up behind them. Congratulations to our newlyweds, Sarah + Justin!

Gretchen + Alex's Wedding {The Harvard Club, Boston, Massachusetts}

Gretchen + Alex tied the knot at the First Lutheran Church in Boston, MA. Conveniently located on Berkeley Street in Back Bay, we had easy access to Commonwealth Ave - which was great for our group photos prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony, Gretchen + Alex were whisked away by horse & buggy! What a fairytale wedding it was! We made our way for the the Boston Public Garden to capture some quintessential Boston imagery of just the bride and groom. Cocktail hour and reception was held at The Harvard Club. Such a grand ballroom complete with fireplaces, wood paneling and historic paintings. Candles glowed among the tall standing centerpieces chockfull of pink peonies, roses and blush white hydrangeas. Loved the balcony for those wide dance floor shots! (Thank you to my amazing second photographer, Dawn, for those!) Such an incredible night! Congratulations, Gretchen + Alex!

Stefanie + Denton's Wedding {Zukas Hilltop Barn, Spencer, Massachusetts}

Nothing says beautiful New England countryside quite like Zukas Hilltop Barn, located in Spencer, Massachusetts. It’s no wonder why Stefanie + Denton selected it as their number one venue for their big day! Everything takes place right here - the getting ready, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. And what a fabulous playground Zukas made for Stefanie + Denton’s two year old daughter. Nothing cuter than a flower girls on a tree swing! The aisle between the raspberry bush rows made the perfect spot for Stefanie + Denton’s first look. Ceremony took place outdoors. Oh my! Tears and smiles from processional right up to the kiss. I may have cried too! Reception was held under the tent. Leave it to radio host / DJ, Greg Bedard, to light up the dance floor (literally!) — our couple chose magenta for their uplighting. Just after sunset, the sky became crimson and blue and we knew twilight photos were a must. Enough said. Perfect ending to a perfect day. Congratulations, Stef + Denton!
